Regarding the outcomes in the Medical and Health subject area, Dr. Bahrami indicated that KUMS has successfully maintained its position from the previous year, ranking second nationally and falling within the global range of 300-301 in 2026. Tehran University of Medical Sciences ranked first nationally, followed by Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, and Tarbiat Modares University, which were collectively ranked third in the 401-500 global range.
Dr. Bahrami further emphasized that KUMS achieved the top position among Iranian medical universities in the Life Sciences subject area, securing a global ranking within the range of 501-600 in 2026. In the context of Life Sciences, Baqiyatollah University of Medical Sciences, Zanjan University of Medical Sciences, and Tarbiat Modares University attained the second position nationally, with their global ranking ranging between 601 and 800.
