About
The Library of the School of Public Health was established in 1996 and has since been dedicated to providing comprehensive library services to esteemed faculty members, students, and colleagues.
The library's resources encompass a range of general subjects, including psychology, religious studies, management, history, sociology, and literature, as well as specialized subjects such as statistics, epidemiology, environmental health, occupational health, public health, nutrition, food industries, and entomology.
Access to the library is open to all users; however, borrowing privileges are reserved for registered library members. The library operates from Saturday to Wednesday, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Available library services include:
- Book lending by library regulations
- On-site access to non-circulating resources
- Acquisition of books and other media
- Conducting needs assessments in collaboration with professors, researchers, and students
- Engaging in communication and cooperation with the central library and other faculty libraries and centers
- Providing a dedicated website for searching and conducting research activities, which includes access to the full text of a majority of both foreign and domestic research journals
- Disseminating up-to-date information to all patrons, including announcements about new books and information services.
The library's collection is as follows:
- Total number of registered books: 25880 copies
- Total number of available books: 18721 copies
- Number of weeded books: 7,159 copies
- Number of available Persian books: 15820 copies
- Number of available Latin books: 2,901 copies
- Number of doctoral theses: 3 titles
- Number of master's theses: 281 titles
- Total number of bachelor's theses: 771 titles (178 titles in CD format and 593 titles in printed form)
- Number of computers designated for specialized searches: 23 devices
- Number of computers for searching theses and e-books: 1 device
- Number of printers: 1 device (shared)

The vision of the School of Public Health Library in the coming years is to introduce itself as the most prestigious educational and research center in the field of public health in the west of the country and to achieve a valuable position among educational and research centers inside and outside the country.

The School Library endeavors to align its objectives and tasks with the overall mission and goals of the university.
The primary commitments include:
- Supporting the university's educational and research initiatives by providing access to the most current resources and references as mandated by the Ministry.
- Identifying and addressing the informational needs of the academic community through adequate facilities.
- Collecting, organizing, and disseminating information that aligns with the goals and activities of the faculty.
- Integrating resources and services with societal developments and the evolving requirements of the academic community.
- Ensuring prompt and convenient access to information resources for faculty members, students, and university staff to support both current and future educational and research endeavors.
- Monitoring and coordinating the provision of information resources effectively.
- Maintaining and updating the content of the faculty library portal.
- Overseeing the physical conditions and human resources within the library.

- Monitoring subscription fees, managing after-sales services for library software, and implementing updates for library systems.
- Conducting periodic evaluations and updates of the existing book collection.
